Get Your Fresh Duck Here! (El Pato Servido Aqui)

Apparently the link to Duck Tales and El Pato, the original Veneconomy articles has now been restricted somehow, as bandwidth limits were exceeded.

So you can find Duck Tales and El Pato here, I guess until I see the bill for my server.

I also have the Stanford Annual Reports and at some time I will be posting those to the net, since for some reason the Stanford International Bank website is no longer showing them. But they are large...so I'll keep them on my hard drive for a while.

These are important historical documents and could be part of case study for accountants/auditors sometime in the future.

EDIT: Stanford International Bank Annual Reports and December Letter have been uploaded to SCRIBD and avaliable HERE.

  1. Alex, this dramatic story about this "Bank" affects, in my opinion, the most emblematic business school in Venezuela: IESA, since one of the local bank directors is one of their most charismatic finance teacher. How could this teacher work there?

  2. Hugo, Huguito. The other one. Hugo and I actually coincided on several morning TV shows. Always very nice to me.
I just shows that everyone can be duped.

  3. Alex, will the SEC be using some of our tax dollars as payment to you for doing the heavy lifting in this matter. Bravo!

  4. Afraid not, Todd. All pro-bono. Maybe that's what gave my work some credibility, all previous 'whistleblowers' had some kind of litigation going.
Must say, however, given the timelines, they were on to this. But I didn't know that.

  5. @gonko: check that the director in question is actuall Hugo Faria Viso the IESA professor and not Farias Bermudez the Stanford director. :)
